Michael Keelan has had a lifetime of experience in the horticultural world, the last thirty years as a popular broadcaster and television presenter. This mild mannered "boy next door" has finally combined his secret passion for cooking, with his lifelong ambition to travel the world, as co-host in the "Out of the Blue" series.

Married to Prue with three children and four grandchildren, it is obvious when one meets Michael that his family is the true pivot of his life. He lives life to the fullest and it would be hard to find something that Michael does not love. His interests include gardening, fishing, dining out, theatre, music, travelling, movies, wine-tasting- in fact all the great joys of life.

A positive, enthusiastic member of the team Michael is a passionate loyal South Australian and lists the coastal area of South Australia as the best place he has ever visited.

Michael says his favourite food is spaghetti marinara, but I suspect whatever food is being served may be his favourite food.
